“Hells Bells” is the first track of Australian hard rock band AC/DC‘s first album without Bon ScottBack in Black. It is the first song onBrian Johnson‘s debut album for the band.

The song starts off with the slow tolling of a bell four times (out of 13 times total, with the last one at 1:10) followed by an intro played by lead guitarist Angus Young; he is then accompanied by his brother and bandmate Malcolm Young. Eventually drummer Phil Ruddand bassist Cliff Williams start playing. The lyrics, sung by Brian Johnson, explain how the narrator will attack and drag a victim to hell, comparing his actions with natural phenomena such as rain, thunder and hurricanes.

  1. AC/DC is my ALL time FAV band, grew up in the 80’s , saw them in concert too many times to count! Love the way the walk around the stadium & include the audience in their shows!! Have been waiting for them to tour in USA for awhile now, specifically in New England Area so I can see them again!!
Keep on rocking, banging out those new songs, can always tell their music by just the first few bars and even though Bon Scott had to pass to young, Brain Johnson is right on w/the voice!!
    Peace :)
