“Reason to Live” is a song by the American hard rock band Kiss. It is featured on their 1987 album, Crazy Nights.

Written by singer/guitarist Paul Stanley and professional songwriter Desmond Child, “Reason to Live” is a power ballad, heavy on keyboards and production. The B-side is the Gene Simmons-helmed album track, “Thief in the Night”.

A video was made to help promote the single. It featured clips of the band playing the song live on a large, well-lit stage, interspersed with shots of a young blonde woman. Portrayed by Playboy playmate Eloise Broady, the model is visibly distressed over relationship troubles with Stanley. She vents her frustrations by throwing a wine bottle at a picture of the two of them, and sets Stanley’s car on fire after dousing it with gasoline. The video received airplay on MTV, and was directed by Marty Callner and produced by Callner, Doug Major and Bill Brigode.

“I Love It Loud” is a song by the American rock band Kiss. It was released on their 1982 album Creatures of the Night.

The track was written by bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons and guitarist Vincent Cusano, although some versions of the album mistakenly credit Paul Stanley and Cusano. Cusano had been working with songwriter Adam Mitchell when he discovered that Mitchell had connections to Kiss, and Cusano made it a point to meet Simmons through Mitchell. After meeting and exchanging phone numbers with Simmons, the two got together and wrote “I Love It Loud” in addition to another song called “Killer“, which appeared on the Creatures album during the same writing session.
